Forward-looking planning represents an essential instrument of public administration and constitutes the basis for the sustainable development of the territory. It makes it possible to define long-term objectives, coordinate political priorities, and enhance the effectiveness of public measures. In this context, IRE – Economic Research Institute of the Chamber of Commerce of Bolzano/Bozen – analysed 24 strategic planning documents of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The aim of the analysis was to gain a deeper understanding of the stated objectives, measures, and their interrelationships in terms of impact.
