The “Olympics of Skills”: WorldSkills

Did you know there’s an “Olympics” for skills too?
WorldSkills is an international movement that brings together countries and regions from all over the world, including South Tyrol. Young talents put their skills to the test and compete in a wide range of professions, from traditional trades to creative and technological fields and hospitality.
aking part means putting your skills to the test, competing with other young talents and striving for excellence in your profession.

South Tyrol has been participating in WorldSkills since 1995, and the project is coordinated by the Chamber of Commerce of Bolzano. Throughout the year, various events and initiatives are organised in collaboration with numerous schools, associations and local companies.
