Pathways to Future Regional Development

Chamber of Commerce of Bolzano/Bozen and NOI Techpark

In collaboration with the Regional Studies Association (RSA), Eurac Research, the Austrian Institute of Economic Research and the SPRINT research network, we are organising a two-day workshop on ‘Pathways to Future Regional Development’ from 11 to 12 June 2026. The conference will focus primarily on the topics of regional development, innovation, sustainability and inequality.

Day 1 – 11 June 2026:
  • Keynote speeches
    by Frank Neffke (Complexity Science Hub)
    and Sandro Montresor (University of Trento)
  • Presentation of scientific papers
  • Discussions and networking
Day 2 - 12 June 2026:
  • Policy panel “Bridging Worlds: Connecting Research, Policy, and Innovation Ecosystems”
    with Carlo Menon (OECD) and Vincent Mauroit (NOI Techpark)
  • Guided tour of NOI Techpark
