Chamber of Commerce of Bolzano/Bozen (Thursday) and NOI Techpark (Friday)

REGIONAL SCIENCE CONFERENCE 2026
In collaboration with the Institute for Regional Development of Eurac Research, the Regional Studies Association (RSA), the Austrian Institute of Economic Research and the SPRINT research network, we are organising a two-day workshop on ‘Pathways to Future Regional Development’ from 11 to 12 June 2026. The conference will focus primarily on the topics of regional development, innovation, sustainability and inequality.

Day 1: 11 June 2026
in the Chamber of Commerce of Bolzano/Bozen
  • Keynote speeches
    by Frank Neffke (Complexity Science Hub)
    and Sandro Montresor (University of Trento)
  • Presentation of scientific papers by researchers from all over the world
  • Discussions and networking
Day 2: 12 June 2026
in the NOI Techpark Südtirol/Alto Adige
  • Policy panel “Bridging Worlds: Connecting Research, Policy, and Innovation Ecosystems”
    with Carlo Menon (OECD) and Vincent Mauroit (NOI Techpark)
  • Guided tour of NOI Techpark

Registration

There is a limited number of places available for interested parties from the South Tyrolean economic community and for students (without the opportunity to present papers). Please select the days on which you would like to attend in the form.
