Handicraft in South Tyrol - between tradition and digitalization

With more than 13,700 companies and about 45,600 employees, the South Tyrolean craft sector is a main pillar of the local economy. The IER - Institute for Economic Research of the Chamber of Commerce of Bolzano surveyed 1,906 craft enterprises of all occupational categories to take a close look at the success factors and current challenges of the sector.
